Electrical NOTICE OF APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE POSITIONS OF INSIDE WIREMAN (ELECTRICIAN) APPRENTICE AND TELECOMMUNICATION APPRENTICE TECHNICIAN FOR WORKFORCE 2017 DuPage County JATC will offer applications for the above positions for Workforce 2017 every Tuesday from 8 am to NOON and 1pm to 4pm, excluding holidays until September 27, 2016. Cost: $20.00 (Cash or Money Order) for one program or $25 for both. YOU MUST APPLY IN PERSON Minimum qualifications for applicants: 1. AGE-Minimum 17 years old at time of application. You must be 18 years old at time of selection & indenture. 2. EDUCATION-High School Graduate or G.E.D., or have two years Associate Degree or higher. 3. One year high school Algebra 1 (with minimum of a "C" average) or one full year of post high school Algebra 1, equivalent with a minimum of "C" average. (Two years of high school pre-algebra with a "C" average will be accepted). Official high school and post high school transcripts required and verification of Algebra 1. 4. VALID DRIVERS LICENSE (copy required) DUPAGE COUNTY JATC LOCAL UNION 701 I.B.E.W. and N.E.C.A. 28600 Bella Vista Pkwy. Suite 1500 Warrenville, IL. 60555 All applicants who meet minimum requirements and return all documents by the deadline will be scheduled for the aptitude test. Those who pass the aptitude test will qualify for an oral interview. The recruitment selection, employment and training of apprentices during their apprenticeship, shall be without discrimination because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, or age -except the applicant must be 17 years of age to apply and 18 years of age at the time of indenture.
