PhD or ABD in Mechanical Eng or Theoretical & App-lied Mechanics+1yr exp req'd. Must have fluids thermodynamics exp/edu w/ inviscid & viscous flows, turbulence, combustion & emissions modeling for premixed & diffusion flames, developing models & algorithms for numerical simulation of combustion processes, optimization of flow & thermal behavior, flame propagation in laminar & turbulent flows for internal combustion engines, Fortran, C/C++, Python, Fluent/StarCD, ANSYS, Matlab, 1-D Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
