This position is responsible for the leadership and supervision of faculty and staff, and the coordination of the activities of the Humanities and Social Sciences Division. Responsible for the organization, administration and general effectiveness of the liberal arts courses. Supervises the development and offering of faculty development and library functions. Qualified candidates must possess: a master's degree in a related teaching discipline required; expertise in teaching writing, supervisory experience, and administrative experience desirable; demonstrated history of a student-centered approach to teaching and learning preferred; and a commitment to making the humanities and social sciences meaningful to all students preferred.
