  • Responsible for serving as the chief medical officer (CMO) for AIM Specialty Health. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversees a team of clinicians who identify new opportunities to improve quality, safety of care and/or reduce cost of care, and design interventions.
  • Leads the clinical development function by providing day-to-day leadership and management.
  • Oversees the evaluation of clinical and economic impact of products, services and interventions.
  • Ensures the clinical and analytic validity of products and services, and represents those products and services to customers, prospects and partners.
  • Leads the overall direction of clinical product and service evolution.
  • Serves as the internal expert on quality, cost containment, disease and case management initiatives.
  • Provides clinical and technical support for sales and client management.
     

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Requires MD; board certification; 10 years of experience in disease management; 5 year of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Detailed understanding of administrative codes (i.e. ICD-9, CPT-4, HCPCS) and claims data analysis experience required.
