WMS Manager

WMS Manager

Primary Job Function:

The Warehouse Management System Support Specialist will be responsible for the overall stability, configuration and support of the WMS System that addresses the demand, supply and inventory within our distribution system.

Understanding of distribution demand/supply business processes and implementing functionality and supporting users.

Troubleshooting.

WMS training for new associates, including, but not limited to, navigation through WMS screens and data processes all custom projects; including picking paths, warehouse slotting to allow for better processes.

Miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned by WMS Manager.

Implementing functionality and supporting users and business needs form an IT perspective.

Training and guidance to all WMS users.

Attends training for upgrades, process flow changes and implementation.

Hands-on IT System analysts role requiring experience/expertise within ProducePro or similar distribution systems capable of supporting supply chain functions.

Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years related industry experience.

Must have been classified as either proficient or a super-user with a Warehouse Management System.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, Outlook.

Prior experience using and ERP or Netsuite.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to function in a fast-paced multifunctional environment where priorities change quickly.

Knowledge and understanding of supply chain distribution and warehouse slotting concepts.

Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.

Ability to work in a professional manner, be flexible and handle interactions with all levels of organization and with external clients.

Demonstrated ability to communicate well with other members of the team and with non-technical users.
