UX Consumer Transparency Digital Marketing Manager

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Consumer Transparency team is aggressively growing and we are looking for a skilled Sr Digital Product Manager.  Individuals in this role will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of Anthem’s digital solutions in our consumer transparency (Find a Doc and cost and quality tools) capability.

The position requires extensive experience in digital product management, analytics, relationship and consensus-building skills, and proven ability to think strategically in the complex and evolving healthcare environment.

These positions will be responsible for managing the portfolio of digital work in the transparency space, leverage key insights and analytics to inform direction and will be accountable for defining strategy and key deliverables launched to market.

Responsible for managing our consumer-facing health care decision support digital solutions, from strategic planning through execution to launch. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

      * Drive the strategy, business case development, solution design, feature prioritization and delivery of capabilities to competitively enhance Anthem’s digital consumer health care decision support applications

      * Use market and stakeholder feedback, consumer research, web analytics, and regulatory standards to determine the strategies and approaches necessary to deliver compliant solutions that increase member satisfaction and drive improved health care outcomes

      * Develop and promote strategies and solutions that align with overall enterprise and business unit goals, objectives, and expectations

      * Develop product launch plans with key deliverables, milestones, and assigned accountability

      * Define key performance metrics and utilize analysis of web analytics and other data and research to monitor performance and influence the product strategy/roadmap

      * Define needs around consumer research and usability studies designed to validate proposed solutions

      * Lead project teams to integrate capabilities across the suite of health care decision support solutions, as well as across the consumer portal overall

      * Provide and report status of key initiatives to senior level leadership

      * Collaborate with and set direction for key marketing, business, technology, and user experience design partners to secure project alignment and effective execution

      * Be a subject matter expert in health care decision support, competitive and market trends, and organizational business needs

      * Provide direction on appropriate positioning/marketing messaging for various stakeholder groups (members, clients, providers, internal business stakeholders, third party agencies, etc)

      * Manage external vendors and service providers and support RFP and other prospective client activities

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

      * BA/BS degree required or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.   MBA preferred.

      * 5+ years of experience in a product management/product marketing management capacity. Prior strategy/management consulting experience a bonus.

      * Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare industry preferred.

      * Proven track record of successful delivery of digital solutions from planning to launch, as well as ability to define and track key performance metrics

      * Advanced experience in outlining strategies, building business cases, and defining business requirements.

      * Experience with a variety of development methods, including Agile and Waterfall.

      * Excellent strategic, analytic and critical thinking skills, combined with an ability to adjust course based on data/research findings.

      * Strong written/verbal communication skills and presenting strategies to senior level leadership.

      * Experience working and leading cross-functional teams across marketing, operations, IT, finance, product, and legal.

      * Ability to work independently and navigate organizational complexities to obtain support/resources needed to move initiatives forward

      * Experience managing external vendor relationships
