Corporate Communications Manager
*this position will be filled in Indianapolis, IN

Responsible for developing and implementing Anthem’s internal integration communications plan. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

      * Partners with leadership to develop and implement a strategic. communications plan in support of integration initiatives.

      * Leads the research of communication needs and establishes goals and objectives.

      * Researches, develops, reviews and/or edits communications materials for senior management.

      * Serves as senior editor of corporate and/or online communications and coordinates with intranet team in posting of appropriate messages.

      * May be responsible for obtaining bids to ensure cost effective spending on department programs or initiatives.

      * Provides guidance or direction to team members on departmental projects.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

The ideal candidate will have:

      * Requires a BA/BS and 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

      * MS preferred.

      * Prefer PPT/graphic design experience, but not required.

      * Knowledge of managed care and the health insurance industry preferred.
