HAYSSEN MACHINE OPERATOR – 2ND SHIFT

We are currently searching for a Hayssen Machine Operator for our Insight Beverages plant which has bulk manufacturing, blending, conveyor, filling, labeling, and packaging processes.  The Hayssen Machine Operator is responsible for performing duties to set up and operate a variety of food processing equipment.

Major responsibilities are as follows:

  • Set-up, adjust, and operate a variety of mixing, blending, filling, labeling, and packaging equipment.
  • Load and unload materials.
  • Monitor work in progress and ensure products produced meet specifications.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate production records.
  • Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues.
  • Follow SOP’s, GMP’s safety rules, sanitation rules, and good housekeeping procedures.
  • Use instructions, hand tools, gauges, and testing instruments.
  • Participate in cycle counting and annual inventory counts.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

If you are known as an exceptional employee who produces great work and believes in adding value to everything you do, we want you to join our growing team and share our vision.  The ideal candidate will have 1 or more years of related experience within a food, beverage, ingredients, mixing, blending, filling, canning, and/or packaging environment.  Working knowledge of Hayssen form, fill, and seal packaging equipment or equivalent is preferred.  Additional experience with wrappers, carton erectors, automatic case packers, in-line scales, metal detectors, and X-ray units is preferred.   Ability to work in a standing position and lift or move 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation is required.  Basic mechanical aptitude is essential.  High School Diploma or equivalent is desirable.
