Retail Bridal Sales Summary
General Summary:
Our Retail Bridal Sales Manager is responsible for the overall profitability and operations of the salon through employee development and customer experience. The Retail Bridal Sales Manager ensures each House of Brides customer receives professional and superior customer service. He/ she acts in accordance to House of Brides policies and procedures.
Job Specifications:
Position Requirements
- Position includes day, evening and weekend hours. Full time positions may require day and/ or evenings and weekend hours
Work Experience
- 2 or more years in management are required. Retail experience is preferred
Profitability
- Attain monthly sales goals and set individual staff sales goals
- Provide daily feedback to staff on selling performance to ensure goals are met
- Oversee sales floor and assist in closing sales
Employee Development
- Interview and recommend new hires
- Evaluate staff and make recommendations to upper management
- Conduct staff meetings to review policies and procedures, provide training and communicate expectations on a daily basis
Store Operations
- Generate sales and inventory reports
- Oversee the overall store presentation and delegate employee responsibilities
- Understand, communicate and enforce policies and procedures and other pertinent information with staff
- Address and document unsatisfactory performance or policy and procedure violations.
Customer Experience
- Ensure customers receive the highest level of customer care
- Communicate with customers to identify and resolve customer issues
Analytical Skills
- Ability to understand and operate basic computer systems within the store
- Ability and willingness to learn new computer applications as needed
- Ability to read and process product, sales and inventory reports
