- Needed For Special Education Cooperative, Available Immediately, Assistant is 10 Month Position, 6-7 Hours Per Day, IL Substitute (SUB) License OR IL Educator License with Stipulations Endorsed as a Paraprofessional Educator (ELS) required. Assistant Hourly Salary $13.47 -$14.90 depending on qualifications. Teacher Assistant Benefits Include: medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Collaborate with teacher and staff to implement academic, behavioral, communication, and social skills; provide assistance to students with academics, self-help, and hygiene needs.
