Customer Administrator

Customer Administrator

 

We are a family run full-service packing, crating and transportation company located in the Chicago suburbs, in search of a Customer Administrator to join our team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry
  • Processing driver paperwork
  • Tracking and tracing loads
  • Assisting with accounts payable
  • Additional clerical tasks as assigned

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of similar or related experience in the transportation industry
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required
  • Basic computer and typing skills to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Profit Tools and Great Plains highly desirable
  • Possess a strong customer service mentality
  • Flexibility in dealing with tight deadlines and service sensitive issues on a daily basis
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
  • Work well with others in a team environment
  • Teachable and eager to learn
