Account Manager – Cosmetics

The digital B2B journal, Cosmetics Design, touches on every aspect of this industry, from raw materials and active ingredients, right through to drilling down on what makes for the most innovative products currently hitting store shelves.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hungry self-starter who will succeed in digital sales as account manager for CosmeticsDesign.com.

The ideal candidate should be organized, a strategic thinker equally capable of prospecting as well as developing global strategic accounts.  If you know the cosmetics industry, understand how the community gets its news and intel and love consultative, solution selling, contact us now.

Primary role – Sales:

  • Contribute to the commercial development of the CosmeticsDesign  brand  in the Americas
  • Achieving quarterly sales targets, strategic and tactical components in respect of established guidelines, rules and processes.
  • Reaching KPI (Key Performance Indicators) standards as required.    
  • Attending key trade events the US and occasionally beyond
  • Conducting client visits the US and occasionally beyond
  • Contributing to implementing strategies and action plans aimed at increasing revenues.
  • Providing regular and detailed reporting as required.
  • Maintaining updated CRM

Secondary role - Brand development / Marketing:

  • Exploring and recommending brand development opportunities and new product development ideas suited to the Americas markets to upper management, and any other activities relevant to the growth of our brands and audience.
  • Contributing to marketing initiatives and actions with direct commercial benefit.                                
  • Identifying and exploring opportunities to partner with key associations and show / conference organizers.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with key industry players and opinion leaders.
  • Generally contributing to any other projects of potential benefit to FPD and FQN brands in the Americas in collaboration with other departments
