- MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (DAYS) The DAILY HERALD, Chicagoland's 3rd largest daily newspaper, has a need for a part-time 26 hrs a week maintenance tech in our Schaumburg printing center to locate, repair, rebuild, or replace defective parts on printing presses and related production machinery and perform preventative maintenance tasks. Previous printing maintenance exp necessary. Troubleshooting skills a must. Hydraulic, pneumatic, and some electrical exp (480v) helpful. Position needs someone who can work independently, lift a minimum of 50 lbs, and be able to climb or move freely around production equipment. We offer a great work environment.
