The Assistant Director manages the student services for the Masters of Science in Finance and Masters of Science in Business Analytics. This position originates student-related communications and event management from matriculation through graduation. The Assistant Director counsels admitted students and communicates expectations and requirements that results in a high class matriculation and greater satisfaction while students are in the program. The Assistant Director builds and strengthens community within the cohort by providing resources and platforms for academic enrichment. The Assistant Director is also responsible for providing prompt and appropriate responses to student inquiries; monitoring student academic performance; university student requirements and coordinating all student-related speakers and events.

The Assistant Director contacts and sets expectations with admitted students. Through emails, student sites, phone calls and in-class presence the Assistant Director provides a positive image of the program and articulates to each individual how the Notre Dame Executive Education Masters Degree programs operate and how each student is able to get the most from their experience.

The Assistant Director serves as the point of contact for candidates, faculty, alumni and currently enrolled students on the Chicago campus. This position will propose improved procedures, logistic infrastructure and student policies in order to better take into account the needs of a student or stakeholder on the Chicago campus.

The Assistant Director facilitates all communications for Executive Education Masters Degree students from matriculation to graduation. This includes phone calls, newsletters, individual and campaign emails, announcements, Sakai groups, and in person.

The Assistant Director works with Operations and Senior Administration to optimize Orientation, Graduation, biweekly class sessions and Immersion weeks in South Bend and Chicago.

The Assistant Director manages student information in university systems and provides interface to Student Accounts and Health Services to manage class compliance.The Assistant Director also provides customized invoices and performs grade and degree audits

The Assistant Director assists the admissions and marketing teams with program representation to candidates and the development of the student insight information for website, brochures, special promotions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• 3 to 4 years of relevant professional experience

• Excellent client skill and counseling/student advocacy ability.

• Microsoft Suite proficiency, CRM experience and database query proficiency.

• Ability to work some weekly evenings, weekends as position requires.

• Ability to travel between Chicago and South Bend periodically and occasionally travel outside of tri-state area.

Master’s Degree Preferred
