Store Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION – STORE MANAGER          

REPORTS TO: President

Store Managers are responsible for meeting their Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and for making their Putting Edge a fun and exciting environment for all guests and staff team members. They must lead by example and provide outstanding service to all guests. Store Managers are accountable for all aspects of their location while continuously driving sales.

All Managers must have current certification in basic First Aid, CPR, and (WHMIS) use US equivalent.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Resolve guest challenges and concerns effectively.
  • Health & Safety: Identify and remedy any hazards; complete monthly health and safety check lists.
  • Cash management including supervision, reports and banking.
  • Manage and host Birthday Parties and Group Events.
  • Manage the Arcade Game area.
  • Managing inventory and Purchasing consumable supplies.
  • Drive sales by leading and participating in local marketing initiatives.
  • Build relationships within the community through memberships, organizations, attending festivals etc.
  • Recruit, hire, train, discipline and terminate employees as necessary; Maintain employee records.
  • Ensure compliance to all Putting Edge policies and procedures by all staff team members.
  • Preparing and managing the Staff Schedule in accordance with Putting Edge policies and procedures.
  • The Store Manager will be required to lead by example and actively work together with staff to ensure the facilities are clean and well maintained at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Have management and marketing experience
  • Possess strong customer service skills and effective problem-solving and mediation skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work under stressful situations
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail
  • Must be available to work two eight hour weekend shifts between 6 p.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Sunday and three weekday evening shifts per week.
