Project Coordinator

This hourly (non- exempt) position serves and supports commercial loans, real estate loans, wealth management, and trust business units of First American Bank through the implementation of technological business processes and systems. In addition, this position helps to streamline department processes and distribute information in the most efficient manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research, analyze and document departmental processes within each of the organization's business units.

Mainly work as liaison with the Commercial Loan, Real Estate loan, Wealth Management, and Trust Departments on all projects relating to these areas.

Create workflow diagrams, using Microsoft Visio.

Work directly with individuals within the business units, and with the Project Application, Project Development, and Project Management Teams, to make recommendations for streamlining processes and to develop project requirements.

Test multiple projects, document changes to the projects, and distribute appropriate training materials to the business units.

Schedule meetings with division/business unit department heads as necessary outside of regular project meetings.

Work with project manager on day to day issues and tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or 3 years qualifying work experience REQUIRED.

Minimum 3 years professional/or academic experience in business analysis, commercial lending, commercial loans, commercial documentation, real estate loans, or wealth management REQUIRED. Previous banking industry experience a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are required. Strong verbal and written communication skills and good customer service skills with internal customers are required.

Professional and/or academic experience working with MS Visio is preferred. Must have an above average understanding of various computer applications, including but not limited to: word processing and spreadsheets. A strong desire to learn new technologies and work in a team environment.

Some travel between Elk Grove and various branches is required.

Ability to work regularly scheduled hours Monday - Friday (some weekend or evening hours may occasionally be required depending upon business need).
