Security Services Specialist
*this position will be filled in Indianapolis, IN
 
Works under general direction of the Director, Security Services and exercises reasonable latitude in determining protective service techniques to accomplish stated objectives.
 
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
      * Provides protection services for Anthem executives and visiting dignitaries.
      * Contributes to and participates in the established protective programs.
      * Controls access to the executive floor; monitors closed circuit television, fire and other life safety systems; greets visitors to the executive suite and provides overall area security and responds to any emergency.
      * Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED SKILLS:
The ideal candidate will have:
      * Requires a HS diploma or GED; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
      * Completion and certification by a recognized executive protection program and executive protection driving facility preferred.
      * 4 + years of experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, or public/private sector security organization.
      * Experience in interpersonal and customer service skills, data research skills and above average writing ability.
      * Certified in CPR and AED operations.
      * Must have a license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States and has the ability to obtain an international driver’s license. Specialized drivers training
      * Must be willing to work Mon-Fri, 7am-7pm.  Additionally, there will be some evening work and some weekend work and possibly longer shifts on certain days.
      * Experience in executive protection
