JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sales Support Manager position is responsible for ensuring that new employers are consistently being recruited for Safer and Pivotal Staffing and job orders created by the engagement of new employers are consistent with the skill level of Safer Foundation clients.  The Sales Support Manager works in conjunction with unified sales force, Safer Foundation’s Workforce Strategies team.  As such, this position is responsible for ensuring effective working relationships with new employers and Safer Foundation.  This position is responsible for developing Safer Foundation and Pivotal Staffing marketing/growth strategies to potential employers and securing new customers to increase placement opportunities for Safer Foundation clients and Pivotal Staffing revenue.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and present for recommendation, strategies for prospecting and qualifying leads to grow Safer/Pivotal employment opportunities and revenue
  • Provide list of actionable prospects for distribution to Sector Managers and Pivotal sales staff
  • Track and analyze Sector Manager and Pivotal sales staff progress
  • Support marketing and sales efforts to expand Safer Foundation’s employer, and Pivotal Staffing customer base and revenue.
  • Provide assistance to Sector Managers in development/implementation of individual marketing and account maintenance plans
  • Provide support in developing/implementing training and tool development for Sector Managers to enhance their ability to sell Safer Foundation employment services and Pivotal staffing services.
  • Perform employer research to determine factors in decision to hire/not hire Safer clients.
  • Support the development of all marketing materials and activities directed toward employers.
  • Support adequate transitional job opportunities developed through Safer and Pivotal
  • Partner with and mentor Sector Managers to manage and build relationships with new employers and represent Safer Foundation to the employer and business communities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Proven sales and marketing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with others, both as a team member and team leader
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated and outcome driven
  • Knowledge of the specific barriers that people with a criminal record face regarding access to employment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a diverse work environment

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years sales experience
  • Experience developing and delivering reports and presentations
  • Sales management experience a plus
