Manufacturing Engineer

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Reports to VP of Operation & Manufacturing Engineer Manager


Deublin Company is a leading global manufacturer of Rotating Unions - a mechanical device that allows transfer of pressurized fluid from a stationary source into rotating machinery for heating, cooling or transfer of fluid power. Our modern, air conditioned manufacturing facility utilizes state of the art multi axis machine tools to produce our parts in a lean manufacturing environment.

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to perform all functions of production support, quality control, and continuous improvement manufacturing process by applying lean manufacturing philosophy.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Works with design and product engineers to ensure all products and system requirements are taken into account from the initial product release to the final production release.
2. Designs assembly methods and procedures for new products.
3. Provides engineering knowledge and technical problem solving skill to revolve any daily production issues.
4. Implements and maintains process engineering instructions and standardized work instructions, including creating time study for all manufacturing processes.
5. Ability to work in cross-functional setting.
6. Develops and prepares drawings required for tooling, machining and assembly of fixture component parts.
7. Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow with time study, minimize work motion, and eliminating production waste.
8. Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; establish PM to improve equipment reliability.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (BSIE); 1 to 3 years related work experience is preferable.

Candidates must have the ability read, analyze and interpret technical procedures. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers. Candidates will be able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Qualified candidates must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
