Virtual Role to be based from home in Chicago Area

Job Purpose:

a)            Managing the member groups (chapters) within a region to develop an annual plan based on RICS regional objectives: member growth, increased recognition and improving member satisfaction.

b)            Work with members and colleagues to execute in your markets, including: membership drives, events, roundtables, research studies, product launches and recognition initiatives.

c)            Organize and facilitate Country and Chapter Board meetings across region.

d)            Ensure proper governance structure, schedule of meetings and measurement of chapter plans.

e)            Work with Chapter Chair to set agenda and objectives, record and track action items.

f)             Drive actions to meet objectives of Chapter.

g)            Act as a resource for event and activities.

h)            Strengthen relationships with key organizations, including fellow associations and universities.

 

Key achievements and financials:

1.            Ensure an annual plan is set and executed for each key chapter, that includes:

a.            Number of events (and a calendar set well ahead)

b.            Membership growth initiatives

c.             University and association outreach initiatives

2.            Delivery of an agreed upon number of events per chapter, that are:

a.            Profitable (margin to meet or exceed plan)

b.            Well attended

c.             Well received (as measured by post event satisfaction surveys)

3.            Maintaining all reports on a shared community, including:

a.            Meeting agenda and action items

b.            Event financials

c.             Membership Pipeline Report

d.            Event Survey results

 

Experience required:

Mimimum 5 years experience including:

a) Ability to work independently

b) Event management and meeting planning experience.

c) Experience working with boards and committees

d) Strong interpersonal skills and excellent organisation skills.

e) Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel and powerpoint).

 

This is 12 month maternity cover contract and will involve you working from home.

Salary banding for this role $50,000 - $65,000 depending on experience.
