United Airlines has an opening for a Senior Analyst - IT ADM - CEP and Enterprise Applications Integration in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.  Provides expertise in business processes to developers. Works on complex projects that require subject matter expertise.  Participates in project life cycle planning and delivery. Analyzes, designs and implements a technical solution based on project requirements.  Less than 5% travel, to Houston or other locations for meetings, average 4 trips per year.  Must have a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related IT field and 2 years of IT experience in developing business applications, OR Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related IT field and 5 years of IT experience in developing business applications. Also must have experience with: translating functional and non-functional requirements into detailed technical specifications, producing deliverables including Use Cases, flowcharts, and data mapping using Visio, and Detailed Requirements documents and Non-functional Requirements documents; developing test plans and test cases; serving in a project manager role for application development, including creating project plans using Microsoft Project, creating status reports, and conducting meetings with business and development teams; using XML and SQL; performing data modeling and database development; Airline Enterprise Data and Airlines Business Processes, including SHARES or other Passenger Service System (PSS); and Messaging, Application Integration and CEP technologies.
