A professional association with more than 8,000 members worldwide, has a job opening in their Downtown Chicago headquarters for a an ASP.NET Web Developer.   After having been on a third party AMS, we have brought our web site and web application management back in house and need to add one more member to the Web/Technology Team.   You will work as part of this small, collaborative team (two people including you) doing full life cycle development creating cutting edge rich external facing web properties, internal facing sales tools, and customer facing dashboards using ASP.net, SQL Server, C#, Web Services/API, and JavaScript frameworks.   Exceptional work environment, exceptional benefit package.    Requirements Required: Strong knowledge of C#; .NET; ASP.NET; ASP.NET AJAX and Entity Frameworks 3 years’ experience in application and website development (HTML + CSS + JavaScript and the backend db) JavaScript & jQuery experience is required - We’ve also built a few apps AngularJS Transact-SQL/MS SQL 2008 - querying & stored procedures IIS & Windows Server experience Git or Mercurial version control You generally enjoy other people and interacting with them professionally and personally Good to have or capacity to easily pick up: Hands on experience working with the Umbraco CMS is a huge plus along with the uCommerce eCommerce package Experience with Cloud Services (MS Azure & Amazon) Procedural PHP.  We have some legacy apps in PHP.  You most likely won’t have to touch them.
