Seasonal Assistant- ATM Balancer

This seasonal part time position is responsible for processing the ATM department's daily work to ensure that all ATM activity adheres to First American Bank's policies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Verify and balance ATM deposits, merchant and commercial deposits, and residual ATM cash per First American Bank policy.

Verify and balance the ATM department vault on a daily basis.

Prepare ATM cash loads and bulk currency shipments for transport by armored carrier(s).

Prepare individual teller, ATM and vault blotters.

Produce and ship ATM and debit cards as needed.

Communicate with various First American Bank departments, account holders and outside financial institutions as needed.

Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks and meet daily deadlines.

Gather data as needed to aid in the completion of monthly reporting.

Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.

Adhere to, and uphold, all written policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum one to three years cash handling experience required.

Strong customer service skills to provide First American Bank's high standard of service.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong computer skills (i.e Word, and Excel spreadsheet applications).

Previous experience with any online teller system preferred.

Occasional travel for training classes may be required.

Normal hours are 8 am to 2 pm. Longer hours and Saturdays may be required as workload dictates.

Part time seasonal position working 25 hours or less a week.
