Fast-paced, growing software development company in the western suburbs looking for the 4th member of its accounting team.  This position will train with our Senior Accountant and report to the Finance Director.  Shared tasks within the department will include monthly payroll, monthly financial statement consolidation, maintenance of deferred revenue schedules, state income and sales tax filings, accounting for German subisidiary, analytical project work and a variety of HR related projects.  Opportunity to work on Research Credit, Transfer Pricing and other detailed tax calculations and ultimately interact with customers by providing software quotes and product licensing assistance.

Minimum requirements for this job are:

• B.S. in Accountancy from an accredited 4 year university (not online)
• 3.3 GPA or higher
• Between 2-5 years of related accounting experience
• MS Excel and Word proficiency
• Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.

Not required, but a plus:

• CPA certification
• QuickBooks experience
• ERP software experience
• Proficiency in German
