Supervisor- Finance



For problem-solvers and the analytically inclined: Help a world-leader in technology invest strategically, allocate wisely and drive shareholder value. Formulate groundbreaking processes, provide in-depth analysis and expertly manage Verizons assets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Business Finance Operations team of 10-13 offline coordinators
  • Responsible for driving the VES business success measurement requirements while ensuring optimal productivity and quality customer satisfaction for Verizon internal/external customer base.
  • Ability to support all functions handled by Business Finance Operations including Profile Creation/Update, Business Discounts and Escalations, OCCs and Purchase Order Entry
  • Support and participate with BFO Strategic Initiatives
  • Demonstrate strong analytical abilities
  • Monitor employee customer interaction and provide ongoing feedback to employees on how to manage and improve service levels
  • Ensure compliance with control procedures
  • Successfully communicate ideas and recommendations to all levels within the department
  • Support and facilitate development of team knowledge and skills providing timely feedback and guidance to help achieve performance objectives
  • Support Employee Roadmap for career development
  • Make decisions that contribute to the overall success of projects and programs within BFO Team
  • Demonstrate ongoing efforts to drive efficiencies while delivering cost savings through process improvements
  • Position requires flexibility: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 9:00pm (Saturday Leadership support may be required for overtime due to business needs; when applicable)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant job experience, a minimum 2+ years Supervisor or Consultant experience preferred
  • BFO, BGCO, Business Sales, CFS, or National Account experience preferred
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to coach, train and motivate team to achieve high performance results; ability to listen to internal and external customers and communicate complex and intricate information clearly and concisely to all levels within the organization; must be familiar with VZW systems and have a thorough knowledge of desktop software packages designated as necessary to the job
  • The ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups
  • The ability to express ideas and information clearly in E-mail correspondence, telephone calls, reports, letters, or other documents with appropriate organization and structure, correct grammar and language, and terminology that is adjusted to the characteristics and needs of the audience
  • The ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to inspire and guide all levels of the organization toward goal achievement
  • Excellent problem solving & conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge and/or experience in a call center environment
  • Able to make decisions or recommendations that contribute to the overall success of projects and programs within the BFO Organization
  • Excellent customer focus skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • In-depth system knowledge including VISION, EWI, Netace, Workflow Manager, SFA-OM and OneSource
  • Ability to professionally manage multiple high priority tasks
  • Working knowledge of all call center key performance indicators including but not limited to: all aspects of quality, productivity, days in range, staffing and service level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Strong, thorough knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures used in the BFO
  • Must be well-organized, detail oriented and self motivated
