Senior Account Executive

300Brand is looking for a Senior Account Executive to support client managers and facilitate agency and client communications, while representing our agency in person at critical program/project meetings and coordinating work with agency’s offsite team.  This resource will work out of our client’s office in Vernon Hills, IL.  The Senior Account Executive will extend agency relationships into new client departments and support business development.  This resource will also participate in account planning and program implementation, including media outreach. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication between client and O’Keeffe & Company
  • Provide input and feedback to agency team as called for on communication plans, work products and activities
  • Maintain daily contact with key client staff, advising corporate communication activities and supporting constant forward movement on projects
  • Research, design, develop, implement, and manage client projects
  • Write and edit news releases, articles, multi-media copy, web copy, and presentations
  • Develop and place appropriate stories by and about the client in news media
  • Contribute ideas to program development for the client and to agency leadership for new business proposals
  • Other tasks as assigned by management or the client

Skills Required:

  • PR experience in the technology field, including agency experience
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver superior written documents quickly
  • Ability to learn processes and styles quickly
  • Ability to generate ideas and think creatively
  • Ability to supervise and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to handle sensitive client and agency information with discretion
  • Skill in project management
  • Business presentation skills, including their development
  • Good listening skills
  • Ability to work within assigned budgets
  • Willingness to travel

Other Recommended Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree; graduate degree in public relations, journalism or related field
  • Five to ten years professional experience in the communications field
  • Supervisory experience in the communications field
