Role
As a Business Sales Specialist at Verizon, you'll play an integral role in driving the success of a world-class technology leader. With your exceptional communication skills and a strong customer focus, you'll support our Direct Sales force and deliver high quality service to our range of business customers. Whether you're continuously prospecting and generating sales referrals or providing pre- and post-sale solutions, you'll apply your sales expertise to identify and meet the needs of our customers. All while helping us expand our reach, strengthen our impact, and change the world through powerful technology.
Responsibilities
With a deep product expertise and a rich understanding of our solutions, you ll:
Provide administrative and sales support to field sales team
Prospect, cold-call, and generate new sales leads daily
Analyze customer accounts (e.g., rate plan analysis) and provide customer support to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Develop, coordinate, and deliver customer training
Support daily business operations, including processing customer transactions and ensuring equipment delivery and activation
Attend training to keep up with company products, market, and industry trends
Qualifications
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
A 2-year degree, or at least 1 year of relevant sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
A 4-year degree with experience in selling, supporting a sales team in a commissions-based sales environment, and cold calling, as well as a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals
Additionally, the following skills and attributes will be integral to your success:
Professional customer service and communication skills
Strong solutions-based sales and prospecting skills with the ability to close sales
A passion for technology
Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced team-driven environment
Outgoing, resourceful, and motivated to learn
