Sr Analyst - Supply Chain Competitive Analysis

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- This role has ownership of mission-critical databases which drive decision making for the organization. Using these databases, generate and deliver insightful interpretation on overall results, understand competitive trends, and create market forecasts to drive the short-term business strategy. Create models which simulate outcomes based on variable decision inputs.
- Support with-in function/cross-function/cross-business unit creation of a strategic plan for key initiatives. Review, follow-up, and track key initiatives, providing analysis to determine success rate and return on investment. Make recommendations to the CPO Sales team which will increase revenue recovery amounts.
- Monitor strategies and results within each value stream of Revenue Recovery Operations team; Create and manage analytics dashboards which communicate critical metrics and create laser sharp focus on key performance drivers to achieve increases in revenue recovery and margin.
- Collect, evaluate, and present financial metrics and analysis to support informed decision-making and to guide negotiations. Drive process improvements and craft innovative solutions to business issues based on data analyses and key performance metrics.
- Support key business reviews including Semi Annual Business Plan, Strategic Long Range Plan, Executive and Board reviews
Area and Senior Leadership Socialization
- Support Area and Regional leadership and senior management in researching initiatives that will have a significant impact on the Edge and Device Recycle programs while driving decisions among functional VPs, Area Presidents and Key Stakeholders which will determine compensation for store reps.
Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain is required
- 5-7 years of experience in a position managing supply chain, business planning or finance is required
- Telecommunications / Consumer goods / Technology business acumen is desired
- LEAN, 6-Sigma, Supply Chain Management, or Financial certification preferred
- Strong organizational, communication and negotiation skills required
- Strong analytical skills around business financials required
- Proficient Microsoft PowerPoint skills; Should be considered an expert in using Excel and Access
- Proven success working in a highly dynamic, deadline-driven environment across functional teams and geographies
- Aggressive self-starter, able to independently organize, prioritize, and execute multiple complex assignments and projects
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, problem-solve, and drive tactical execution.
- Strong communications and presentation skills to be able to interact with internal and external audiences at all levels
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent work relationships at all appropriate levels within and outside the company
