On-line Personal Banker

The On-line Branch is responsible for processing accounts submitted on-line and emailed applications as well as performing tasks related to servicing of retail products and their operations.

This hourly (non-exempt) position is responsible for the overall processing of the new account applications that are submitted through the on-line branch, as well as providing personalized customer service by assessing customer needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Complete daily tasks for the on-line branch and HSA operations, as assigned, which include, but are not limited to:

Process employer contributions

Work on various reports to identify system failures and exceptions (HSA Plus transfers, failed on-line transfers, CIP exceptions, paper statement exceptions, and excess contributions)

Complete HSA tax reporting corrections.

Work on applications submitted through the on-line account opening platform.

Complete the processing of applications flagged for review.

Process the open requirements (tasks) for new accounts.

Open accounts manually through the bank's account opening platform that do not go to host from the on-line banking platform.

Work on related email boxes and Secure Messaging, as assigned. This includes support to branch personnel as well as delegating account openings, completing maintenance to accounts, corrections to transactions, account closures, and responding to customer questions.

Educate and assist new and existing customers by actively taking calls in the On-line Branch and HSA Escalations phone queues.

Maintain good customer relations via phone and email to provide product and service information, troubleshoot, resolve customer issues and escalate situations to management when needed.

Act as a resource for HSA queue representatives.

Analyze a customer's needs to identify sales opportunities and identify or mitigate loss as Marketing Call Database calls are completed. These calls include Welcome Calls, Cross Sell Calls (2 month and 6 month opportunities), and Overdraft Calls.

Understand system functionality and ensure that transactions are input appropriately and accurately.

Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed for all transactions.

Conduct new account audits for account openings delegated to branch personnel accurately and in an appropriate time frame.

Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent required.

College degree in business or related field a plus.

At least 1 year related experience with a banking background and previous customer service experience is preferred.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Ability to use logic and deductive reasoning to complete research.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong listening skills.

Excellent computer skills including navigating multiple applications.

Flexibility to travel to attend training at our training center in Addison and branch locations is required.

40 hour work week during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.
