Financial Pricing Manager
Responsibilities
General:
Manager of Tier II operational team for regional Enterprise Pricing & Contract Management analysts and management to support PCM in their creation of special pricing solutions to complex special pricing and contract term requests for deals.
Representation of PCM organization as primary POC on special projects to ensure PCM involvement is in alignment with corporate objectives.
Policy & Communications:
Development and execution of policies for the PCM analysts worldwide based on new pricing, product changes, promotions, and financial polices; frequent engagement with cross functional teams from marketing, legal, regulatory, and operations.
Development of training and communications of new products and tools

Development of training and communications of new products and tools
System & Tool Development:
- Management of team's creation of new profitability models and tools with focus on efficiency for PCM organization
- Responsible to represent and execute for the VRD Pricing Tower on the following:
- Creation and submission of business requirements to support the regional PCM organization and objectives in the VRD. Review of BREQs for other systems to ensure
- Review and sign-off on IT designs based on business requirements to support capabilities needed in vPRICE and other VRD systems
- Provide direction on UAT testing to ensure test cases are accurate and reflect testing of new and enhanced capabilities each release.
- Creation and ongoing maintenance of training materials in relation to the new vPRICE and VRD functionality.
- Business Lead of Decision Center application within vPRICE
- Manage cross functional team of business, finance & IT members to draft, review, and implement logic in vPRICE system.
- Rules include rules for standard pricing, PCM policies, and promotions.
Product & Pricing Support
- Representation of PCM organization throughout the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) launch process; provide input to product launches (including executive vote) with PCM representation in mind.
- Lead team of PCM Ops subject matter experts to support marketing and pricing on development of new rates, pricing floors, and promotions; ensuring compliance to corporate strategy and government regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, related field or equivalent experience required
- MBA preferred
- 6+ years experience with special pricing arrangements and custom agreements for customers required
- Proven ability to lead cross functional teams towards an end-goal and problem resolution.
- Ability to prioritize people and projects towards the organization's objectives
- Thorough understanding of company's standard products and customization of those products
- Ability to understand profit & loss modeling, cash flow, and other financial analysis
- Experience in writing and reviewing of business requirements for systems in support of pricing, billing or contracting tools
- Expert knowledge in deal lifecycle process at Verizon and full presale to invoice processes preferred
- Excellent communications and presentation skills; comfortable with presenting to executives
- Ability to make sound business decisions quickly under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- 5+ years of supervisory experience is preferred
