This is a great opportunity to join a growing operation with a fresh way of thinking.

The Mariano’s Leadership and Development Program is a 52 week accelerated management program that puts you on the career path of becoming an Assistant Manager, Service Operations Manager or Co-Manager.  In this program you will receive training from our experienced managers who will assist in advancing your career.  You will gain experience working in a variety of departments and become more knowledgeable in the following areas:  leadership, financials, human resources, logistics, and supply chain.  You will either choose a Perishable and Non-Perishable route and fast track your way to a Department Manager.  You can expect to be involved in directing and managing all aspects of store operations including driving sales, controlling expenses, developing people, interviewing and talent selection, executing merchandise plans, all with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.

 

Mariano’s Locations:  Arlington Heights, Vernon Hills, Lakeshore East, Roscoe Village, Palatine, Hoffman Estates, Jefferson Park, West Loop, Frankfort, Harwood Heights, and Elmhurst.

Job Requirements:  Demonstrated leadership abilities, involvement in extracurricular activities, strong attention to detail, time management skills, high level of energy and enthusiasm, go-getter, high performer, flexible schedule and weekend availability and some retail experience

 Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or in a related field OR a combination of a Bachelor’s degree with some retail experience required.
