Acts as server at food and beverage functions held at the zoo. Assisting with setting up the dining, reception and staging areas for scheduled events by referring to the Banquet Event Order (BEO). Organize bussing station and prepare coffee service, champagne, butter, and bread baskets. Follow safe food handling procedures in accordance with established food service sanitation practices. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, outstanding customer service orientation and attention to detail. Ability to maintain 100% customer satisfaction under pressure and with deadlines required. Ability to work well with little supervision and available to work weekends, holidays and late evening events required. Spanish fluency a plus, but not required. Starting salary $11.25 per hour.
