Mortgage Loan Processor - Bloomingdale

Job Description:	Summary: We have an immedate need for a full-time contractor. The duration of this assignment will be approximately 4 to 6 months. This hourly (non-exempt) position entails processing all real estate applications and maintaining all pertaining records. Duties include entering and updating loan information into the loan processing software system. This includes gathering all documents necessary to create a financial picture of a loan applicant using prescribed guidelines for each loan type, submitting that file for underwriting and obtaining all conditions required for funding the loan. Full knowledge of Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and Conventional lending guidelines. Responsibilities: Initiate, track and collect the proper documentation necessary for the mortgage loan process. Organize and archive supporting documentation within our Synergy Imaging software. Responsible for the timely preparation and delivery of appropriate mortgage disclosures. Assure that all the necessary components of a mortgage loan file are secured, including: distribution and collection of mortgage verifications, ordering appraisals, calculating good faith statements and checking credit reports. Organize and maintain a mortgage "pipeline" that assures pending mortgage documents are addressed properly and in a timely manner. Assemble and submit underwriting and closing packages as needed. Support the efforts of the mortgage loan team with activities and projects as assigned. Prepare settlement and corresponding loan documents in accordance with state and federal regulatory guidelines as well as specific investor standards and procedures. Qualifications: High School or equivalent required. Two years of previous mortgage loan processing experience is required. The qualified candidate will have good figure aptitude and analytical skills, these skills are needed for activities such as analyzing credit reports, computing mortgage fees and other mathematical applications.Must possess a comprehensive working knowledge of conventional secondary market lending guidelines (VA & FHA is a plus).Good oral and written communication skills will allow the candidate to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.Bilingual a plus. Ability to operate a variety of computer programs including Word, Excel and Calyx Point Origination System (Will consider without). FNMA D/P on the Web, FHLMC Loan Prospector, Lotus Notes, Word Processing. Ability to work regularly scheduled hours Monday - Friday (some weekend or evening hours may occasionally be required depending on need). The salary range is $16.00 to $22.00 per hour, based upon experience. Note: This position is located in Bloomingdale, Illinois, near the Stratford Square Mall.
