Allstate Financial provides life insurance, annuity, retirement, banking and investment products through distribution channels that include Allstate agencies, independent agencies, and worksite.
The Product Management department within Allstate Financial is responsible for the design, pricing, implementation of new financial services products as well as management of existing inforce block.
SCOPE AND
RESPONSIBILITY:
Scope includes responsibility for design, pricing, and implementation of new annuity products; inforce management focusing on financial and risk target achievement; assisting in management of line and achievement of associated goals
Lead annuity product design, pricing and risk analysis; partner with other areas of responsibility to ensure successful product implementation
Provide innovative product ideas and solutions informed by consumer research
Work closely with finance, ALM and investments to ensure financials targets being achieved
Ensure appropriate annuity related assumptions and models used throughout company
Partner with leadership within Product Management area and across business unit to drive tactical & strategic decisions and execution around annuities within Allstate business goals
Partner directly with field to drive annuity product sales
Qualification
BACKGROUND
REQUIRED: The successful candidate will have at least five years of demonstrated, increasing levels of responsibility in the area of annuity or insurance product evelopment or Actuarial Consulting. Development candidates will be considered. Responsibilities must include staff and project management. Strong communication capabilities a must. Some travel required.
EDUCATION
REQUIRED: This position requires a bachelor's degree. Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) is required.
