Marketing Project Manager
The purpose of this department is to efficiently and effectively lead, manage and execute innovative customer transactional and marketing communications.
The scope of this position is:
- To manage the development of new or enhancements to the existing transactional communications and processes from ideation to implementation. This individual will assume the subject matter expert role to support the transactional communications processes.
The position will be responsible for:
- Managing the business conversion of new and existing Allstate Protection customer communications (policy packages) into the new Exstream platform.
- Identifying and documenting detailed business requirements to scope final deliverables and capabilities.
- Converting all policy documents (Auto, Homeowners, Emerging Business) into the new design guidelines with refreshed content over a 4 to 5 year period.
- Maintaining Billing transactional documents and marketing materials.
- Partnering with Technology and Output Processing Centers to develop and refine new business processes associated with the new software tool (Exstream).
- Managing all internal approval processes and/or vendor relationships for the project.
- Managing project budgets.
- Managing the internal/external communications and training associated with this work.
- Assisting in the compliance issue resolution process.
- Working closely with Marketing, Product, Legal, Protection Technology, OPCs, Regional Markets and Field offices.
- Supporting the Print and Postage Expense Reduction initiative when designing the new documents, as well as supporting the development/enrollment process for ePolicy.
- Tracking, measuring and reporting on document related trends, issues and marketing related sales.

Qualification
Skill Level definitions:
- Beginner (has general understanding/knowledge)
- Intermediate (has good working knowledge/understanding)
- Advanced (is considered an expert)
The required skills and skill levels for this position are:
- Intermediate to advanced project management skills.
- Intermediate to advanced multi-tasking skills.
- Beginning to intermediate understanding of customer communications (policies, bills, marketing inserts).
- Intermediate to advanced analytical and technical skills for solving problems, developing requirements and preparing reports to complete team objectives.
Experience required (type of experience and number of years required):
- 3 or more years Property and Casualty Insurance Company experience preferred
- 3 or more years of project management experience
- 3 or more years working in or with technology departments
Computer proficiency (computer skills needed for the job):
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Beginning knowledge of Quark and Adobe Acrobat is a plus, but not required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred

- None required
