P&C Actuarial Intern
An internship is a great way to gain valuable practical experience to jump start your career as an Actuary. Allstate offers an opportunity involving a variety of independent projects, daily coaching and interaction from experienced professionals in a dynamic team environment, in addition to networking opportunities with a variety of Actuarial and industry professionals, along with other peers.
As an intern in Product Operations, you will gain a basic understanding of Allstate's personal property and casualty business lines. Under close supervision, you will be accountable for timely completion of assignments involving auto or homeowners insurance, contributing to overall implementation and budget goals of project initiatives.

Qualification
Candidates will be evaluated based on the following minimum requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelors program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics, AND be in strong academic standing
- Have an understanding of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exam process or successfully completed one or more actuarial exams
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to work in a team environment
- Proven organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects within specified time constraints
- Solid PC skills including aptitude with Microsoft applications
