Developer / Programmer - Elk Grove Village

Job Description:	Responsibilities: First American Bank programmers are motivated individuals who have the ability to multitask effectively through the prioritization and organization of assigned work. This position is responsible for the complete life cycle of projects. This includes but is not limited to the following: analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, final system documentation, support, and maintenance. Also, this position will have responsibilities associated with installing, configuring, and interfacing with third party vendor solutions. All of these responsibilities are expected to be handled in a professional and timely manner following department procedures and policies. Possess a high level of logic and analytical ability; being creative in identifying solutions. Must be detail oriented and exhibit strong oral and written communications skills. Able to fulfill the requirements of off hours support and weekend rotations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in computer programming/computer science or equivalent work experience. 1 to 3 years of developer level experience. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact with others on team projects. Excellent problem solving skills that demonstrate a logical thought process. Strong project management skills and documentation skills. Experience with the following: Strong SQL writing skills accessing data from different data sources (DB2, MS SQL, MySQL, etc.). Visual Studio.NET 2008 (VB.NET, ASP.NET) experience. Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel experience. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 developer experience (DTS, SSIS, Stored Procedures, etc.). Microsoft Access 2003 developer experience. Web development experience (HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP, etc.). Preferred Lotus Notes development experience. Preferred Crystal Reports developer experience.
