Director; Lab Information Systems
General Summary of Position Responsibility: The Director of LIS is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring Laboratory Information Management systems and standards to support the clinic, academic and research functions of the organization. This position has leadership and management responsibilities for all applications and LIS resources that support those functions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Masters prepared laboratory clinician with experience in Information System.
4-5 years of direct experience in laboratory IT.
Must have knowledge of Sunquest, Epic, CoPath, Smart, and Mysis Collection Manager applications
ASCP MT preferred.
