Security Services Engineer
Primary responsibilities include:
- Consult, advice, validate, and audit firewalls rule for Allstate network security infrastructure.
- Participate in network troubleshooting and incident problem resolutions with other infrastructure teams.
- Engineer and review future network security architecture solution and implement Firewall life cycle maintenance processes.
- Creates performance statistical reports of various firewall clusters and its environment.
- Documentations of all past/future Firewall environment including topology diagram and subnet information.
- Collaborate with peer group from outsource organization supporting Security Services.
- Establish educational program for Firewall Services.
- Establish training program for internship students and new employees.
- 3rd level support for the NOC and priority 1 incident call.

Qualification
- Strong and in-depth knowledge of:
- TCP/IP.
- Data Network engineering knowledge (i.e. LAN, WAN, Extranet, routing, protocols, etc.).
- Network troubleshooting experience.
- Nokia and Checkpoint Firewall.
- Firewall troubleshooting and policies resolution.
- Antivirus, ePO, and McAfee.
- FTP/Proxy servers/TIBCO.
- Radius.
- IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention).
- Allstate applications knowledge a plus.
- Systems platform knowledge a plus.
- Qualys knowledge a plus.
- Blue Code knowledge a plus (definitely ++).

The successful candidate should exhibit the following skills and abilities:
- Ability to work successfully with others in large and small team. Ability to motivates and inspires others to perform at a high level, taking appropriate risks, and accepting personal accountability for actions and decisions.
- Assertiveness - Ability to troubleshoot incidents until root cause resolutions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to transform technical knowledge into business language (e.g. reports, presentations, etc.)
- A strong aptitude and attitude in learning new knowledge in information science and Information security.
- Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Engineering, Computers Science, or related field, with 3 - 5 years of field experience.
