Human Resources Manager

This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating policies, procedures and programs including manpower planning, wage and salary administration, recruitment, orientation, training, employee benefits, employee development, safety and employee relations for employees. This role will be exposed to strategy and business review planning to help drive their decision making.

Key Accountabilities:
Recruiting and On-boarding: through a close partnership with the Global Talent Acquisition team will assist with recruiting in a quickly growing team. This includes understanding and using our HRIS system for requisitioning equipment, processing access, etc.
HR Business Partner: will attend staff meetings, assisting the VP of HR and department leads with employee relations, staffing and employee performance issues. Additionally, will provide coaching for employees and managers. Will use knowledge of the business and strategy to help guide decisions and recommendations.
Compensation and Benefits: will drive the implementation of policies and procedures around salary administration, bonus administration and Open Enrollment.
Employee Relations and Development: will be responsible for ensuring positive employee relations and driving employee development, through the Newell Rubbermaid Global Leadership Platform and specific site and employee needs. This includes being the sponsor and driver of the Newell Rubbermaid Performance Management Process.
HR presentations, processing requests, evaluating and recommending solutions for day to day issues.

Bachelors or University degree in Human Resources or related field.
6-8 years experience in Human Resources; management experience a plus

PHR/SPHR certification preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications:
