Service Engineer Professional
The individual will be responsible for:
This Simplified Sign-On (SSO) Operations position is an experienced, professional-level role within Allstate Insurance. As a SSO Service Engineer, you will be expected to perform in a high volume environment to complete the simplified sign on of onboarding of internal and external applications, as well as performing installation, upgrades and emergency break fixes of the SSO environment. Responsibilities also include application configuration, application capacity and performance monitoring. This individual will be accountable for documenting and executing change control procedures and performing level 2 and 3 support functions, as needed. Working with platform engineers, database engineers, infrastructure architects and application teams to troubleshoot issues is also required. Provide technical guidance and expertise in integrating applications with the SSO infrastructure. Implement process for maintenance and deployment activities for the following technologies: Tivoli Access Manager (TAM), Tivoli Federation Identity Management (TFIM), TAM WEB Seal, TAM Policy Server, TAM Authorization Server, WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and WAS Session Manager.
The skills required are:
- Advanced - TAM 6.x/TFIM 6.x experience
- Advanced - Problem solving, analytical skills, understanding of web-based security, authentication, authorization, NTLM, Kerberos and session management, SSL/HTTPS,
- Intermediate - Reverse proxy, Active Directory LDAP, Solaris/UNIX and Windows skills WebSphere Application and Portal Server skills

Qualification
Experience Required:
General understanding of infrastructure skills (load balancing, reverse proxy, DMZs),
At least 2+ years of operational support in Information Technology experience in which one or more of the following has occurred: on call support, shift support, execution of multiple concurrent projects, experience in project team participation to meet goals that included large system implementations.
At least 3 + years of experience with system administration on operating systems, experience with Internet development / application deployment. Working knowledge of web security, authentication, authorization, NTLM, Kerberos and session management, SSL/HTTPS,
Computer Proficiency:
Internet/Intranet Security, J2EE, JAVA, Unix (Sun, Solaris), Windows operating system, NTML, Kerberos, SSL/HTTPS. Microsoft Office/Product Suite; Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services; Microsoft Visio
Education:
College Degree - Preferred
Major preference: Computer Science, Information Systems or Management Information Systems
