The Marketing team is responsible for providing strategic and creative support, development and execution of programs and initiatives within and across the enterprise. This is accomplished by leveraging both traditional and non-traditional marketing channels, technologies, and 3rd-party relationships that touch all of our business units.
Position Title: Marketing Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications
Reporting To: Director, Integrated Marketing Communications
Location: Northbrook, IL
Area of Responsibility:
The Marketing Senior Manager will have strategic planning responsibilities for IMC programs and interface with internal and external constituencies who are involved with mobile applications, social media and direct mail/ e-mail development and deployment.
This individual will be responsible for creative development and execution of direct response, digital and mobile communications programs. This position will have a focus on achieving company volume and customer loyalty goals.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IMC team that is committed to providing strategic and creative support for Customer Experience Relationship Management (CERM) program; focuses on direct mail and e-mail to drive increased volume from existing customers and to improve loyalty and retention over time.
  • Lead communication planning and creative development for Allstate mobile applications, including but not limited to, Allstate's master mobile app and other applications supporting Allstate's protection leadership.
  • Lead the development of capabilities in social media and mobile marketing to support IMC-initiated programs.
  • Lead the department's contribution to corporately sponsored cross-sell direct response programs and manage the relationship with Marketing Operations and others responsible for strategy, database management and production of direct mail and e-mail programs.
  • Provide proactive oversight, thought leadership and best practices for IMC's direct mail, e-mail, social and mobile programs.
  • Lead development of customer communication materials (direct mail and e-mail) for existing programs, including but not limited to, customer on-boarding/ service, claims correspondence, billing and customer retention programs.
  • Lead development of new agent directed e-mail programs, including templates for agents to use when they contact a single customer triggered by an inquiry and/or to reach many customers for sales and service-related reasons.

Qualification

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of ten plus years of directly related experience.
  • Proven ability to lead internal and external partners and the confidence to interact with Senior Management;
  • Deep experience in the planning, development and execution of direct response marketing, direct mail/e-mail, and mobile communications programs
  • Proven well-rounded track record for producing highly responsive creative; knowledge of production for various forms of direct response advertising and best practices
  • Direct mail, e-mail and mobile experience with an emphasis on best practices and production excellence
  • Strong analytic knowledge and the ability to adapt this knowledge to improve program development and reporting
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines and takes personal accountability for achieving breakthrough results
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building communication skills
  • Advanced verbal, written and presentation skills
