Senior Marketing Consultant - e-Business & Direct Marketing
The Senior Marketing Consultant is responsible for providing analytical support in order to develop key elements of the e-Business & Direct Channel Marketing Strategy. This is a fast-paced role in a quickly growing, high potential area of Allstate. A successful candidate will have a proven track record in analytics, measurement & reporting, strategic thought, project management and a high proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
Job responsibilities:
The primary responsibility for the Senior Marketing Consultant is to enable and improve the measurement of our marketing efforts in order to optimize our marketing mix, with a focus on analyzing the effectiveness of our Marketing programs at driving sales to our call centers. Our e-Business and Direct marketing programs currently include Direct Response Television (DRTV), Paid Search, Online Advertising, Direct Mail, email, Social Media and Mobile.
Typical duties for this role include:
  • Designing and generating Business Objects (BO) reports that provide insight to the overall performance of our marketing programs
  • Working with Technology and internal measurement teams to improve our current measurement capability
  • Call volume forecasting, tracking and analysis
  • Uderstanding of the call process and the different metrics along the sales funnel
  • Campaign ID and Toll Free Number (TFN) Management, including processing campaign ID requests and change requests
  • Gathering data and providing ad-hoc analysis for senior management as needed
  • Collaborate on projects designed to improve the platform / infrastructure required for data capture and reporting
  • Assisting in the development of the Direct Channel annual plan
  • Partnering with members of different teams within the organization to investigate current external issues affecting the channel: web, technology, voice operations, finance, direct sales & services

Qualification

Qualifications:
The following is required:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 5+ years of experience in database marketing, direct marketing strategy or analytics
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience with Business Objects, SAS, SQL or other business intelligence or database packages
  • Must be comfortable gathering and working with lots of data
The following is desired:
  • Knowledge of database design, applications, and data flows a plus
  • P&C Insurance industry experience
