Lead Performance Coach - Corporate Facilitation
The position is located in Northbrook, IL. The mission of the Learning and Organizational Effectiveness (LOE) team is to enable the achievement of Allstate's key business strategies by advancing and optimizing learning, talent and organizational effectiveness solutions. An exciting new priority for 2010 is the start-up of a comprehensive approach to improve energy management and personal/professional effectiveness of all leaders and employees through improved nutrition, fitness, and understanding of personal mission or purpose. This program involves a flagship education course called "Energy for Performance" as well as other sustaining mechanisms that contribute to creating a culture of health and well being at Allstate. The Lead Performance Coach will develop and support programs to promote employee well being and will share expertise with colleagues, The job requires collaboration and consulting with LOE team members, business clients, HR Business Partners, and other HR resources to develop and implement this strategic enterprise initiative.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead role in role shaping organizational efforts to facilitate employee education on the impact of purpose on energy management and full engagement
- Facilitating Energy for Performance and other workshops (position involves travel to field locations)
- Designing and implementing energy management strategies to enable leaders and employees to prepare for and complete a 90 day mission upon completion of the Energy for Performance course
- Managing learning projects: e.g. developing virtual coaching follow-up sessions, collaborating with third party vendors to provide ongoing one-on-one coaching and follow-up to improve physical energy and recovery at work and at home
- Providing ongoing coaching to sustain change and commitment to personal training missions
- Providing thought leadership to team, clients and HR Business Partners on interval and resistance training and/or nutritional best practices and benchmarks
- Consulting on business unit or organization-wide change efforts
- Partnering with clients and HR Business Partners to provide coaching, consulting and analysis around business strategy and talent implications
- Furthering departmental knowledge and company knowledge through research, internal/external benchmarking, participation in professional associations, etc.

Qualification
Candidate should possess the following skills:

- Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Flexibility and capability to perform in ambiguous situations
- Relationship building with individuals at all organizational levels
- Strong work ethic with commitment to high energy performance, quality and service excellence
- Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a matrixed team environment
Experience and Education:
- A BS degree in Behavioral Health Sciences or related field and a minimum of 5 years of business experience (Masters/Worksite Wellness Programs beneficial)
- Facilitation experience with executives and employees
- Certified Group Fitness Instructor preferred
