Pricing Senior Consultant

Allstate Roadside Services is the industry leader in providing roadside assistance to consumers via Retail and Wholesale relationships. The ARS Finance team has an immediate opening on the Pricing team, with a highly visible role to provide:

  • Analysis of auto claims trends to identify risks and opportunities to Allstate Roadside Services (ARS) business. Analysis to include severity levers, partner and product analytics, etc.
  • Assistance on deal pricing, including developing detailed claims assumptions, driving entire pricing process, gathering expense assumptions, running sensitivities, and presenting porposed pricing to broader leadership team for approval prior to RFP response.
  • Develop tracking process for launched deals, whereby the priced assumptions are compared to actual results to determine financial risks or operational misses.
  • Participating in ARS annual Op Plan process, developing partner level frequency and severity forecasts and working with Finance and Product teams to integrate into Plans.
  • Track Claims savings derived from various Claims synergy projects that were launched in 2008-9.
  • Assist in Claims reporting process integration of two businesses to help develop one consistent Claims reporting process for ARS.
  • Provide ad hoc project support for other areas of Finance.

Qualification

  • BS Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (MBA preferred)
  • 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Claims, Business Planning and/or Actuary experience a plus.
  • Quantitative analytical skills including developing complex Excel financial and operating analysis models. Able to perform quantitative data analysis on structured and unstructured problems.
  • Problem solving and decision making expertise.
  • Work effectively at all levels of the organization and network across organization to build relationships and influence decisions
  • Develop and implement strategies and work independently with limited direction to achieve results
  • Articulate and professional communication skills (verbal and written). Professional presentation and facilitation skills with ability to present clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi task to meet timelines for various projects necessary to meet business goals
  • Cross functional team orientation
