Application Analyst (Op Time OR)
Support information management needs of various client departments or processes across the organization through project coordination, applications implementation, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance or enhancements.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Provide application implementation support, technical guidance, and serve as primary resolution point for all issues regarding assigned applications.
2. Coordinate activities of assigned projects or particular phases of a given project. Develop detailed work plans, timelines; identify appropriate resources needed and provide timely status reports.
3. Provide data transfer, access and manipulation of aggregate and comparative data.
4. Provide assistance with system selection, system maintenance/upgrade and implementation, including system definition, build, testing and conversion planning and interfaces.
5. Create and modify queries as requested by users. Build and maintain queries' catalog.
6. Develop and monitor testing scenarios and methodology to demonstrate system effectiveness.
7. Participate in completing user documentation and training procedures
8. Evaluate system utilization and performance.
9. Participate in system optimization.
10. Adhere to HIPAA regulations for Transactions, Security and Confidentiality
FTE status: FT-80
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related training
2. Job Related Experience: Minimum two years of experience installing/supporting applications. Experience in a healthcare related field preferred
3. Skills/Knowledge:
Ability to articulate facts and ideas clearly and concisely
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and written and oral communication skills
Excellent project management skills
Ability to prepare documentation to support established objectives consistent with generally recognized standards
Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Windows OS and applications
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and works effectively with minimal direction and supervision
Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality relating to employee/patient and hospital
Working Conditions:
1. Must have the mobility to travel through the CMMC complex to users' locations
