Application Analyst/Specialist (Epic ADT Support)
Position Summary
Support information management needs of various client departments or processes across the organization through project coordination, applications implementation, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance or enhancements.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinates activities of assigned projects or particular phases of a given project. Develop detailed work plans, timelines; identify appropriate resources needed and provide timely status reports.
Provides data transfer, access and manipulation of aggregate and comparative data..
Provides assistance with system selection, system maintenance/upgrade and implementation, including system definition, build, testing and conversion planning and interfaces.
Creates and modify queries as requested by users. Build and maintain queries' catalog.
Develops and monitor testing scenarios and methodology to demonstrate system effectiveness.
Evaluates system utilization and performance. Participate in system optimization.
FTE status: FT-80
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related training is required.
- Minimum two years of experience installing/supporting applications. Experience in a healthcare related field preferred.
- Epic certification required.
- Ability to articulate facts and ideas clearly and concisely, Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, Excellent analytical and written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills. Ability to prepare documentation to support established objectives consistent with generally recognized standards.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Windows OS and applications.
