Mortgage Sales Consultant - Downers Grove, IL
Title: Mortgage Sales Consultant - Downers Grove, IL
Location: IL-Downers Grove
As a part of this team in the role of Mortgage Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for the following:
* Consultative selling of first mortgages in a telephone environment.
* Proactively converting inbound and outbound sales leads into applications, including Prime and FHA products.
* Recommending optimum product / rate program combinations to prospects.
* Collecting all necessary documents for loan package.
* Accurately source all business, logging all contacts with prospects.
* Ensuring compliance with applicable statues and procedures.
* Providing feedback on lead quality.
* Meeting required sales performance for pre-established funded loan volume goal.
Required Skills/Experience:
* Prior experience in working with bankers, investment bankers, private bankers, VIPS, corporate executives, etc.
* Must have a history of building referral relationships and delivering excellent performance results working with third party referral sources.
* Requires a broad knowledge of mortgage products,
* 2 years experience required, 5 years preferred, in the job they are being considered for, direct experience in working with purchase business.
Strong communication skills, and a focus on superb customer service
