Associate Predictive Modeler

The Associate Predictive Modeler reports to the Senior Manager of the Modeling group.

Typical work assignments:

• Identification and estimation of longitudinal multi-variate models
• Operating an automated model development tool
• Model validation and maintenance
• Data quality monitoring
• Report preparation.

Growth goals for the position

• Rapid business knowledge acquisition and participation in more complex assignments involving a combination of analytic techniques such as multivariate clustering and predictive models.
• Initially, this position would involve minimal exploratory data and business analysis in the early stages of problem specification, but this is expected to change as the modeler learns the business and their modeling and problem-solving skills mature.

Qualification

Experience:

• 1-3 years work experience solving business problems using statistics and statistical models
• Must be skilled in the use of econometric modeling and statistical analysis software (SAS)
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite for the purpose of document and presentation preparation.

Education:

• Graduate Degree in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Econometrics
  • Specific coursework in multivariate statistics, time series analysis, and econometric modeling is necessary
