Application Specialist - Epic Inpatient
Support information management needs of various client departments or processes across the organization through project coordination, applications implementation, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance or enhancements.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinates activities of assigned projects or particular phases of a given project. Develop detailed work plans, timelines; identify appropriate resources needed and provide timely status reports.
- Provides data transfer, access and manipulation of aggregate and comparative data..
- Provides assistance with system selection, system maintenance/upgrade and implementation, including system definition, build, testing and conversion planning and interfaces.
- Creates and modify queries as requested by users. Build and maintain queries' catalog.
- Develops and monitor testing scenarios and methodology to demonstrate system effectiveness.
- Evaluates system utilization and performance. Participate in system optimization.
FTE status: FT-80
Requirements
- o Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology is required.
- o Certified in Epic ASAP and a minimum one year of experience with support or implementation process.
- o Solid understanding of underlying integration of Epic Clinical Applications, e.g. ClinDoc, ClinDoc Orddrs, Order transmittal , ADT, OpTime, EpicCare, Cadence,
- o Must be able to prioritize, organize, and assess work in order to meet deadlines and to cope in a fast paced multi-disciplinary environment
- o Proven skills in problem solving
- o Capable of working well in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team
